International Youth Day with CJL
Youth and intergenerational issues are in the spotlight on International Youth Day with the CJL's "Youth Talks" initiative.
On International Youth Day, the Lisbon and Tagus Valley Regional Directorate of IPDJ, through this Lisbon Youth Centre (CJL), celebrates youth and intergenerationality with a special programme for this day.
Under the motto "Create a world for all ages", intergenerational solidarity will be in the spotlight on the CJL and IPDJ's social networks, at the Sol da Caparica Festival and at the Bons Sons Festival.
At 11am, another episode of the podcast "Youth Talks" brings us the testimony of the young Nicole Silva on her experience as a young volunteer in the EUSOUDIGITAL project and its importance for digital literacy and interaction between generations.
From 4pm, with the dynamisation of young volunteers of the project #direitoaterdireitos, a CJL campaign, we will be present at the Sol da Caparica Festival to promote the European Year of Youth and the International Youth Day, and address issues related to youth.
To finish the day, at 6.15 pm, we end at Bons Sons Festival with the initiative Youth Talks - creating a world for all ages which, live from the village centre of Cem Soldos, in Tomar, will address the importance of intergenerational solidarity. To conduct this podcast, we have Diana Duarte, author of the program "A Minha Geração" (RTP3 and Antena 3), who will be talking with Miguel Atalaia, from Sport Club Operário Cem Soldos (SCOCS), Rita Saias, former president of the National Youth Council (CNJ), and Vasco Ribeiro Casais, from OMIRI.
This set of initiatives is developed in the framework of the European Year of Youth and aims to celebrate Youth and unite generations, with the collaboration of the City Council of Almada, the organization of the Bons Sons Festival, the CNJ and the FNAJ.
