Compilation on Youth policies and programmes at international level, edited by CJL
During the celebration of five years of the Lisbon Youth Centre with the Quality Seal of the Council of Europe, the book "Lisboa+21 - Políticas e Programas de Juventude numa Perspetiva Global" was presented on 1st July 2020, in an initiative broadcasted live on CJL's Facebook page, which was attended by the President of IPDJ, Vítor Pataco, the President of the National Youth Council, Rita Saias, and the Secretary of State for Youth and Sport, João Paulo Rebelo, and that can be reviewed on the CJL Facebook page.
One year after the World Conference of Ministers Responsible for Youth 2019 and the "Lisbon +21" Youth Forum, organised by the Portuguese Government and the National Youth Council, with the endorsement of partners from the United Nations system, the publication presented in the place that served as headquarters to the secretariat of the Conference organisation, is the contribution of the Portuguese Institute for Sport and Youth in the "consolidation of a research work, which gathers and organises everything that has been carried out in the scope of Youth Policies and Programmes at international level".
The aim of this publication is to contribute to "consolidating the work of those who dedicate themselves to the youth sector, promoting informed reflection and the design of solutions, where young people may participate in an effective and inclusive approach, focused on their rights in order to provide effective and sustainable responses to the challenges identified".
The publication, bilingual (PT and EN), edited by IPDJ, through CJL, has as co-authors Ana Catarino, Carlos Manuel Pereira, Nora Kiss, Sofia Pimenta and Rita Saias.
