The Lisbon Youth Centre (CJL), of the Portuguese Institute for Sport and Youth (IPDJ, I.P.), celebrated its 8th anniversary with the Council of Europe Quality Seal on July 1st.

This celebration was attended by the Secretary of State for Youth and Sports, João Paulo Correia, who, through the Youth Talks for Inclusion initiative, talked with young people about Democracy, Human Rights and the Rule of Law.

In a conversation moderated by young people, Leonor Carvalho and Manuel Roldão, Youth Talks for Inclusion also counted with Cláudia Vieira, from the ROMI Centre, Patrícia Gil, from Lifeshaker Association, and Tiago Silva, from Grow Up Gaming.

The Portuguese version of the Council of Europe publications Mirrors and Insights Into Social Inclusion and Digitalization was also presented, and the exhibition Identity by the young artist Clara Perdigão Calado was inaugurated.

This initiative was part of the European Year of Youth and of the Council of Europe's campaign, Democracy here. Democracy now.
