Recommendation CM/Rec(2023)4 on Roma Youth Participation translated to portuguese

Presentation of the portuguese language version of another Council of Europe recommendation translated by Lisbon Youth Centre.

Lisbon Youth Centre (CJL) released, on International Roma Day, another recommendation by the Council of Europe, translated to portuguese language by this centre, in digital format. 

This is Recommendation CM/Rec(2023)4 on Roma Youth Participation, and its corresponding Explanatory Memorandum, which aims, namely, to encourage the Member States of the Council of Europe to promote an equal, equitable and effective access of Roma young people to human rights, and a meaningful participation of Roma young people in democratic processes and structures at local, national, regional and international levels. 

This session, held online on 8 April 2024, had the intervention of Sílvia Vermelho, from the Directive Council of IPDJ (Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth), Sónia Pereira,  from the Directive Council of Agency for Integration, Migration and Asylum (AIMA), Rui Gomes, head of the Department of Education and Training at the Youth Department of the Council of Europe, and Eduarda Marques, Lisboa e Vale do Tejo regional director (IPDJ) and CJL director.
