Renewal of the Quality Label to the CJL (2023-2027)

After having been distinguished for the first time with the Council of Europe's Quality Label in 2015, the Lisbon Youth Centre (CJL) of IPDJ, sees its work, commitment and performance recognised once again, with the renewal of this label for another five years, for the period 2023 to 2027.

The decision was taken during the 70th meeting of the European Steering Committee for Youth (CDEJ) of the Council of Europe, which took place on 13 March, at the European Youth Centre in Strasbourg (France) and followed the presentation of the report of the expert team that visited the CJL in October 2022, which recommended the renewal of the Seal.

The evaluation of the Council of Europe, reveals the quality work developed by the CJL, in the development of youth policies, working with young people in collaboration with regional, national and international partners, having as strategic areas Education for Human Rights, Democratic Participation and Rule of Law.

This recognition provides the CJL team with increased motivation and a challenge for greater involvement of young people, the different partners and the affirmation and commitment to the present and the future of future generations, in the consolidation of European values, for a fairer Europe, with more solidarity and democracy.
